Scott Michael Dotson, 48 passed away September 28, 2015 at his home in Cordova, TN.
He is survived by his parents, Barry and Linda Telles Dotson; brothers, Brian Dotson and Robert (Bobby) Dotson; two nieces, Taylor Dotson and Alyssa Dotson and two nephews, Anthony Dotson and Brandon Dotson; sister-in-law Bobbi Jean Dotson and ex-wife, Leann Dotson.
He played and collected guitars and had been the lead guitarist for a local band. His other passion was muscle cars.
The family will receive guest for the sharing of stories, refreshments and memories on Thursday, October 1, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Friday, October 2, 2015 in the chapel of Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN. In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Mr. Dotson may be offered to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
