Robert Neal Durham, age 88, passed away March 22, 2025. He was born December 10, 1936 in Hamilton, Ohio to Fred Durham and Florence Boggs Durham. He served in the United States Marine Corps and later with the Tennessee Air National Guard. He retired from the United State Postal Service. He was an avid reader of westerns and military history.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Louise Durham and six of his brothers. He is survived by his children, James Durham (Dianne) and Angela Durham; two grandchildren, Rebecca Durham and Robert Neal Durham, II; and his remaining brother, Jim Durham (Arlene).
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 28 from 1:00 PM until the funeral service at 2:00 PM, at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Avenue, Memphis, TN 38122. Burial with military honors will immediately follow at Forest Hill Midtown Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to the Wounded Warrior Project.
