Olene "Babe" (Duncan) Haskins

Olene “Babe” Haskins, 91, passed away at her home January 11, 2023. Born in Lavinia, TN, she was predeceased by two brothers and one sister. Olene is survived by her sister, Mary Jo Duncan. She was “auntie” to numerous nieces and nephews, including Cindy Cole Ettingoff, who cared for her and Cindy’s children, Cole and Justine.

Olene was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church and in recent years lived at Plough Towers. She loved social gatherings and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. The funeral will at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119 at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 16 with visitation at 1:00 PM immediately preceding the funeral. Interment will be at Memphis Memory Gardens. Memorial donations in Olene’s memory can be made to Memphis Area Legal Services, Inc. or a charity of the donor’s choice.
