Mary Ann Carpenter Traylor of Eads, TN, passed away on February 28th, 2024, at the age of 66. She was born on July 6th, 1957, in Nashville, TN, and was the only child of V. W. (Dub) Carpenter and Mary Jean Whitley Carpenter. She was predeceased by her parents and her husband of 20 years, Charles E. Traylor.
Mary Ann leaves behind 2 wonderful daughters, Billie Jean Traylor and Katherine Nicole Wilson, her son-in-law, Sean Christopher Wilson, her precious granddaughter, Charlie Lin Wilson, and grandson, Wesley Mackenzie Wilson, as well as her sister-in-law, Connie Traylor, and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Denis and Tina Traylor. Mary Ann also leaves behind her beloved best friends and favorite people, Larry and Victor McKenzie, and family friend Elyse Herrod.
Mary Ann was a graduate of Memphis State University and the Cecil B. Humphrey School of Law.
She considered the raising of her two daughters to be the greatest privilege and accomplishment in her life.
Her Celebration of Life will be provided by Family Funeral Care at 4925 Summer Avenue, Memphis, TN, 38122, on Monday, March 4th, 2024, at 2pm.
