Margaret Ann Hardy

Margaret Ann Reed Hardy, 79, devoted and loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and great-grandmother, died July 24th at Methodist Germantown. Mrs. Hardy was a lifetime member of Central Church and a member of the Ambassadors Sunday School Class. She was also one of the previous owners of Reed Brothers Dairy. Mrs. Hardy is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, William David Hardy; one son, David Logan Hardy (Joanne) of Arlington, TN; two daughters, Doris Ann Rhodes (Mike) of Tequesta, FL and Heather Hardy Erickson (Mark) of Collierville; two grandchildren, Jason Hardy and Melissa Loveall; and two great-grandchildren, Athena Loveall and Brooksley Loveall. The family will receive friends tonight (Wednesday) from 5-8pm at Memphis Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens on Poplar. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2pm at Central Church in Collierville. Interment will follow in Forest Hill Midtown. The family requests that memorial contributions be sent to Central Church or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
