Lucy Lynn Grimes, 66, passed away April 5, 2019. She was born January 22, 1953 in Memphis, TN to the late Thomas Walker and Bettye Lynn Grimes. Mrs. Grimes was a member of Decatur Trinity Christian Church. She retired from the VA Hospital after 35 years and numerous service rewards. She loved to work jigsaw puzzles and sight seeing.
Mrs. Grimes leaves behind two brothers; Walt Grimes and his wife Sharon and Fred Grimes and his wife Charlotte. She also leaves her nieces; Rachel Scott, Rebekah Kail, Lydia Bromley and Olivia Sutton as well as 7 great nieces and nephews. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 8, 2019 at Family Funeral Care with services to follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Memphis Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
