Leo Donaldson

Leo Donaldson, age 80, departed this life on Friday, February 5, 2021 at Methodist Hospital in Memphis, TN. He was born in Mason, TN on September 7, 1940 to the late Clarence Donaldson and Georgia Mae Dotson.

Leo was a mechanic for Jay Wiley's Imports in Memphis, TN until he retired.. He was a man of short stature but very outspoken and a big jokester. He was united in holy matrimony to Margaret Marie Smith and to this union one daughter was born.

He is survived by one daughter, Avis Donaldson; one step-son, Frank Smith; one sister, Mary Jefferson; two grandsons, Brandon and Jeremy Donaldson (Bridgette); five grandchildren, all of Memphis, TN ; one aunt, Lossie Donaldson of California; two uncles, James Donaldson of Memphis, TN and John Donaldson of Florida; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Leo was preceded in death by one brother, John William Donaldson.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 27, 2021 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Avenue, Memphis, TN 38122.
