John Sinclair Hilton, age 76, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, August 9, 2024. He was born July 28, 1948, in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, to Margaret Allen Hilton and James Sinclair Hilton. He served in the U.S. Army and was a longtime truck driver. He always enjoyed music and playing in various bands. He is survived by two daughters, Amy Taylor and Heather Hilton and brother, Harry Hilton. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Carolyn S. Hilton; and siblings, Ronald Hilton, Donald Hilton, Mary Louise Hilton, and Margaret Ann Hilton.
Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate and remember his life on Wednesday, August 14 at a catered visitation from 11:30 AM until his funeral service at 12:30 PM, at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119. An escorted procession to the committal service will follow where military honors will be rendered at 2:00 PM, at West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 4000 Forest Hill Irene Road, Memphis, TN 38125.
