Granny You Will Forever be missed! From the warm hugs all the way down to the sweet potato pies. You were a force to be reckoned with and now you are our personal angel! You kept the family close together and made sure we knew the lord. You are an epitome of a strong woman. For years you and granddad has set an example of what living elderly and in love should look like. I always admired the respect you had for yourself and the way you swayed your hips when you danced to your old school blues. Lady there will NEVER be anyone to replace you in my eyes! Some people have a grandma but to me you were my “granny”. It holds a more sentimental value to my heart and that’s where you’ll forever remain. Love always Your Irritating Granddaughter Dominique 🩷

 We knew that God would call you home soon but we still weren’t ready!!! You taught me how to be a strong, dependable, responsible woman and I will forever be grateful for the things I have learned from you. For years you were my rock and I’m sure there were times I worked your nerves like children tend to do, but you never left me hanging and I promise ma that I did everything in my power not to leave you hanging when it was our time to take care of you. There are no words to express the heartache that I feel. I love you ma and I will think of you and will miss you every day for the rest of my life.

May you find peace in knowing that she is resting peacefully and has left you all the courage to continue successfully through your journeys.

It is perfectly fine to mourn well, and walk prayerfully with Father God so you can heal well. Be encouraged to know God is close to the brokenhearted and will wipe away every tear. (Psalm 34:18 and Revelation 21:4).

I will always love you and miss you. Although you’re not physically here, I KNOW you are with us. You carried our little family in Memphis. The back bone, pillar, glue, and staple of our family.  We were truly loved by you and we all were blessed to have you Four generations got to experience your love and that love will forever live on. I’m going to miss you sooooooooo much Granny.
