Ed R Clayton

Ed R. Clayton, age 76, of Memphis entered into the presence of his Lord on August 19, 2010. His entire adult career was dedicated to his work where he was Vice-President and Co-Owner of QS Storage and Transfer Co. He was an active member of Merton Avenue Baptist Church where he was a teacher and finance chairman. His third love was education. A 1956 graduate of the University of Memphis where he earned his Masters Degree and continued to work towards his PhD. He served as Chairman of several committees in the Binghampton community. Mr. Clayton is survived by his brother, Billy Clayton; sisters, Annette Wilkerson and Geneva Baird. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, August 22, 2010 at Family Funeral Care-Memphis.
