Dennis was a loving husband and father. He was a man with a good heart and very generous. He loved his family. He was sentimental and very caring. Dennis also enjoyed fishing and hunting, and he was member of Colonial Baptist Church.
Dennis was preceded in death by his father and step-father, Thomas William Finley. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Judy Lorraine Adams; son, Thomas Adams; his mother; sisters, Kathy Srygley (Ron) and Debbie Dole (Mike); parents-in-law, Otis and Carlene Day; brother-in-law, David Day (Teri); sister-in-law, Denise Liebhaber (Jakie); step-mother, Barbara Focke; half-brother, James Adams; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at a visitation on Wednesday, December 8 beginning at 1:00 PM and funeral services celebrating his life will be held at 2:00 PM, at Memphis Funeral Home - Poplar Chapel, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee. Graveside committal services will immediately follow at 3:15 PM, at Forest Hill East Cemetery, 2440 Whitten Road, Memphis, Tennessee.
