Colin Robert Kilgore, 18, died February 14, 2015 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. He was born on June 19, 1996, in Memphis, TN the son of Robert Scott and Anna (Spalding) Kilgore, brother of Riley Scott Kilgore. He was a senior at Christian Brothers High School in Memphis, TN and planned to attend the University of Memphis on a baseball scholarship in the fall. Colin was a vibrant, athletic young man who impacted many teammates, coaches and parents over the years as a member of the Germantown Giants, GYAA, Cordova Wolves, Memphis Tigers, Memphis Grays, St. Louis School, and Christian Brothers High School, where he earned multiple varsity letters in both football and baseball. He was also a member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Memphis. Colin is also survived by his grandparents, Maria and Bob Boyles, Patti and Ken Spalding, Peggy and Jim Hall, Rose and Bob Kilgore; great-grandparents, Evelyn Wellner and Wilma Jean Spalding; along with many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Emli Wellner, Ada and William Kilgore, William Spalding, and Tony and Mary Gamboa. Visitation will be held at Memphis Funeral Home at 5599 Poplar Ave, on Wednesday, February 18th between 5:00-8:00 pm. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 19th at 2:00 at St. Louis Catholic Church at 203 S. White Station Rd.
