Bobby Glenn Lindsey, 79, of Oakland, TN passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on August 2, 2022. Glenn was a Marine Corps veteran and retired from CSX Transportation in 2001 after 35 years of employment. Glenn is survived by his wife of 32 years, Charlene Lindsey. He is also survived by three daughters: Kim Lindsey of Southaven, MS, Lisa Lindsey of Houston, TX, and Robin Lindsey Wright(Joe) of Memphis, TN; one son, Scott Lindsey(Kasey) of Olive Branch, MS; three step-children: Danny Williams(Tara) of Nashville, TN, Jimmy Williams, and Vicki Williams; five grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and seven step-great-grandchildren. Glenn also has two sisters, Theresa Workman(Morgan) of Nashville, TN and Elizabeth Alford of Bowling Green , KY. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Robert and Sarah Ada Lindsey of Bowling Green, KY. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation at Family Funeral Care on Saturday, August 6, 2022 from 1-2 pm with a funeral service to begin at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Memphis Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in Glenn’s honor to the ASPCA.
