Ms. Beverly Harvey Hartman, formerly of Memphis, went to join her heavenly family on Friday, June 4, 2016. She is 84 years old. The daughter of the late John Quitman & Mattielu Branan Harvey, Beverly was a longtime member of Highland Heights United Methodist Church and currently Jakin United Methodist Church in Georgia where she lived her final years. The family cordially invites guests to a catered gathering on Tuesday, June 7 from five o'clock until seven o'clock in the evening. Funeral service, officiated by Dr. Emily Matheny, will take place on Wednesday, June 8 beginning at two o'clock in the afternoon. All services will be held at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119. Ms. Hartman was preceded in death by her parents, husband and daughter, Beth Hartman Capuson; her sister, Elsie Harvey Cannon; and her brother Joe Harvey. She is survived by her daughter Cindy Hartman Foster (Dennis) of Memphis, Tennessee; sons Philip Hartman (Marti Jo) of Goodlettsville, TN and Loyal O. Hartman, III (LuAnne) of Madison, AL; son-in-law Tom Capuson of Jakin, GA; seven grandchildren Virginia Bingham, Victor Foster, Ainsley Hartman, Avery Hartman; Addie Capuson, Ory Hartman, and Riley Hartman; three great-grandchildren: Jack Bingham, Kate Bingham and Alan Foster; sister Virginia Harvey of Jakin, GA; and brother Doug Harvey of Jakin, GA. Contributions in Ms. Hartman's honor may be offered to Jakin United Methodist Church, 1100 N. Pearl Street, Jakin, GA 39861.
