Sharon Kaye Morgan

Born on February 18, 1941 in Longview, Washington. Sharon was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose warmth, kindness, and devotion to her family left a lasting impact on all who knew her.

Sharon was deeply devoted to her family. She married Richard Morgan in 1990, her husband of 34 years; and together they built a loving home. Sharon raised three daughters—Kelly Totten, Angela Galante, and Dana Sarsona; in Central Point, Oregon. Her love for her family was evident in everything she did. She will be remembered for her loving kindness and compassion; Her infectious laughter and warm smile will forever be cherished by her family and all who knew her.

Sharon loved spending time with her family, especially on trips to the coast, which brought her great joy. She had a passion for gardening, decorating, and photography. Sharon also cherished her spiritual journey, always seeking to grow closer to the Lord and to live a life that reflected His love and grace.

Throughout her life, Sharon was known for her dedication to others. She worked as a lifeguard in her early years, a telephone operator, followed by a successful career in the food service industry, where her commitment to the service of others, as well as her warm personality earned her the respect and affection of her coworkers. She later retired from the VA Domiciliary.

Sharon is survived by her loving husband, Richard Morgan; her three daughters, Kelly Totten, Angela Galante, and Dana Sarsona; and brother Steve Edwards. Her numerous extended family members to include 3 son in-laws, 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren will miss her deeply. She was a cherished Grandmother and a friend to many.

A memorial service to celebrate Sharon's life will be held at Eagle Point National Cemetery in the Chapel on December 20, 2024, at 2pm.

Sharon’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy of kindness, love, and faith will never be forgotten.
