Lois was born September 25, 1928 in Aurora, Colorado, to Charles and Annie (Jimson) Edwards.
Lois’s primary occupation was as a real estate agent, she was also very much involved in community. She served for 16 years on the Shady Cove city council and was instrumental in the rejuvenation of Aunt Caroline’s Park. Lois was also involved with the fostering of over 30 children in the foster system. She loved to sew and cook.
Lois is survived by her husband of over 50 years, Don Holland, daughters; Deborah Tipton, Dixie Rookhuizen and Buffy Rowden, son, Joe Holland, two step-daughters and one step-son, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 siblings and step-son Dane Holland.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 PM, August 10, 2019 at Aunt Caroline’s Park in Shady Cove. Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to St. Jude’s.
