Cassandra Tiffany Hatcher (Constance Tiffany Hand) 5/8/46 ~ 10/19/17 Mother, wife, sister, friend. Cassandra was intelligent, kind, gracious and patient. She was quick-witted, well-spoken, funny and insightful. She loved books, opera and crossword puzzles; African violets, gourmet food and dry British humor. A progressive thinker and free spirit, Cassandra lived a life packed with adventure, cultivating deep and lasting friendships wherever she went. She leaves friends across the country ~ from New Jersey (where she was born); to Washington DC (where she attended college); to the San Francisco Bay Area (where she had flowers in her hair); to Santa Fe; Hawaii, Eugene & ultimately the Phoenix, Oregon area. She is survived by her children Jessie and Hank (Krishna Martins), and grandson Will Isbister. A rich crazy tapestry of extended family: she leaves brothers Chris, Bob, Mac, Jim and Michael; sisters Joan, Holly, Jeanna and Michelle, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Hank (Henry C. Hatcher, III); former partner James Koller and her mother Margaret Palmer Thacher. She touched the hearts of all who met her and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
