Thomas “Joe” Joseph Harkins III, 47, passed away on April 8, 2014. Born on July 20, 1966 in Richmond, VA. Joe is survived by his beloved wife Kathy Walton Harkins, his beautiful and much loved daughters; Sydney Nicole and Sarah Nicole, his parents Thomas And Viola Harkins, his sister Deborah Hodge (Ed), brother in laws; Robert Garland Walton (Jennifer), Steve Walton (Diana), Willie Walton (Mary Ann), a special niece Ashley Walton Blackwell (TJ) and nephews; Jordan, Tucker, and Jared Walton, Jamie Hodge, and Xander Becker, and his dog Lucy The family will receive friends on Friday April 11 from 6:00 – 8:00pm at the Woody Funeral Home, Atlee Chapel, 9271 Shady Grove Rd. Mechanicsville, VA 23116, and the funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 1:30pm with interment to follow at Signal Hill Cemetery.
