Ouida Ferguson Phillips

Ouida Ferguson Phillips, 65, of Hanover County, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2022. She was preceded in death by her father, William Donald Ferguson, Sr., mother, Edith F. Hopkins and step-father, G. W. Hopkins; and her husband, Russell Keith Phillips. Survivors include brothers, W. D. Ferguson (Mary) and Thomas Ferguson (Diana); nephews, Don Ferguson (Alisa) and Parker Ferguson; nieces, Laura Stader and Natalie Ferguson; step-daughters, Alissa Phillips and Kimberly Marzullo (Adam) and their daughter, Amelia; as well as a host of family and friends who will miss her dearly. Ouida had a strong faith and will always be remembered for her compassionate nature, her commitment to serving others, her huge heart for children and animals as well as her zest for life. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 19, 2022, at the Atlee Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 9271 Shady Grove Road in Mechanicsville, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Richmond SPCA, the Hanover Humane Society or a charity of your choice.
