Joyce F. Pruitt, 74, of Glen Allen, formerly of Springfield, Va., went to be with the Lord on May 19, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband Jim Pruitt. She is survived by her son Jimmy Pruitt and his wife Margie, her daughter, Michele Slagley and her husband Scott, grandson Matthew Slagley, and her sister Patricia Smith and her husband Bruce of Sacramento, CA.
Joyce retired from the USDA in Washington, DC.
A memorial service will be held at 11am, on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at the Atlee Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, Route 301 and Shady Grove Rd, Mechanicsville. Interment Private.
