Linda Carol Mosley

Linda Carol Mosley, 69 of Eddy, passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2023 in Waco, Texas. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Liberty Hill Baptist Church in Moody with Pastor Mark Lambert officiating. Interment will follow in Eddy Cemetery in Eddy. Visitation will be two hours prior to service time at the church.

Linda was born Jan. 26, 1954 to Charlie and Elenora Noel in Waco, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Eddy. Linda married the love of her life, Wendell Mosley on August 3, 1973 in Waco. They celebrated 49 years of marriage together. She graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education in 1975. She later went on to earn her Masters degree from Baylor University. Linda taught in Troy ISD for 34 years and Waco Charter School for 3 years. She was a member of the Bell County Retired School Employees Association. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially with her two granddaughters. She was also a long-time member of the Liberty Hill Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Barbara Ann Noel.

Survivors include her husband, Wendell Mosley of Eddy; son, Chris Mosley and wife, Tammy of Troy; granddaughters, Madison and Brooklyn Mosley; sister, Carol Ann Noel-Mattlage of Rockwall; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Bell County Retired School Employees Association Scholarship Fund.

Pallbearers: Clint Brandon, Lex Woodall, Brian Mosley, Will Mosley, Jackie Barnes and Johnny York.

Services are under the directions of the Staff of Cole Funeral Home.
