Henrietta Martinez

Henrietta Martinez, 95, of McGregor, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021 in Waco, Texas. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 14, 2021, with the Rosary at 11:00 a.m., at Cole Funeral Home, McGregor, Texas. Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Thursday, January 14, 2021 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in McGregor Cemetery.

Henrietta was born on June 19, 1925 to Edward and Mary Rodriguez in Lockhart, Texas. She was a longtime resident of McGregor. Henrietta enjoyed crocheting, slot machines, puzzles, dancing, and listening to Spanish music.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Juanita Martinez.

Survivors include her sons, Lupe Martinez of Bad Axe, Michigan, Marcus Martinez of Lapeer, Michigan, Manuel Martinez and wife, Juanna, of Kyle, David Martinez of Houston, Robert Martinez and wife, Wanda, of Sterling Heights, Michigan; daughters, Victoria Johnson of McGregor, Susie Kladzyk and husband, Garrett ,of Bad Axe, Michigan, Rose Zellar of Belleville, Michigan; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; great-great-great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.
