Collin "Bo" Jefferson Smith

Collin Jefferson Smith (BO) age 53, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024 in Waco, Texas. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 19, 2024 at Cole Funeral Home in McGregor, Texas. Interment to follow in McGregor Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at the funeral home.

Bo was born on February 21, 1971 to Thomas Dick Smith, Jr. and Frances (Brooks) Wiese in Fairfield, Texas. He was a longtime resident of McGregor and Moody area. He attended Moody High School. At the early age, he was involved in FFA, Horse Riding Champion, Bull Riding and attending rodeos across Texas. This was his passion in life. He was best known in build construction and his firewood business. Bo enjoyed spending time with his family and especially his four legged friend, Molly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and grandparents.

Survivors include his spouse, Christene V. Garza of McGregor; brothers, Hank Smith and wife, Stephanie of Crawford, Barry Dickerson and wife, Penny of Hamilton; sister, Katherine Smith of Mart; step-father Walter J. Wiese; nephews, Austin Smith, Dakota Smith, Paydon Dickerson, and D’Angelo Rhodes, nieces, Skye Mosley, Adaleigh Dickerson; several great nieces and nephews and a special niece, Faith.

Pallbearers: Hank, Austin Smith, Dakota Smith, Stanton Mosley, Barry Dickerson, and Skye Mosley.
