Betty Lorraine Epperson

Betty Lorraine Duncan Epperson, age 77, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, in Temple, Texas. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Cole Funeral Home with Reverend David Cozart officiating. She will be laid to rest at Sherwood Memorial Gardens in Alcoa, Tennessee,

Betty was born on March 21, 1947, to the late Carl P. Duncan and Jimmie Opal Bumbalough Duncan. She was a graduate of White County High School, Sparta, TN and Sullivan Business College, Louisville, KY.

She was preceded in death by brother, Hoyt Michael Duncan and sister, Patsy Teresa Robinson.

Betty is survived by her loving and devoted husband, John Epperson, daughter, Jacqueline Renee’ Elliott, son, Scott David Elliott, stepson, John Epperson, II, and wife Angie, step-daughter, Ellen Schneider, and husband, Kevin, grandchildren: Noah David Elliott, Meredith Sparks and husband, Sam, Rachael Epperson, Sarah Epperson, Nick Schneider, great-grandchildren: Beau Cochran, Elijah Epperson, Jackson VanderBerg, Samuel Sparks, River Janes, Waylon Sparks, Indiana Janes, Julian Walker; sisters, Genell Bradley, Sonya Mahan (Elwin) and Robbin Cumby (Rick) and many nieces and nephews who all loved her dearly.
