William Deane Morgan

Mr. William Deane Morgan, age 83, of McDonough, GA passed away May 1, 2015. Mr. Morgan was born in Winlock, WA the son of the late Theresa Marie Wickert and Joseph Lynne Morgan. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a member of Turner United Methodist Church. Mr. Morgan served his country in the US Army; a graduate of Southern College of Pharmacy/Mercer University. He was in the Yaarab Brass Band, Scottish Rite, and Rex Masonic Lodge for 50 plus years. Survivors are his wife of 59 plus years, Louise Morgan of McDonough; children, Roger Morgan (Camille) of McDonough, G. Allen Morgan (Michele) of Gainesville and Terri Campbell of McDonough; grandchildren, Tommy Morgan, Crystal Cattani, Sarah Morgan and Matthew Morgan and six great grandchildren; brother, Patrick Morgan of Stockbridge; sister, Janet Morgan of Las Vegas. A memorial service for Mr. Morgan will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2015 – 12:00 Noon at Turner United Methodist Church with Pastor Leon Baxter and Pastor Gary Boggs officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour to the service.
