Mr. William “Bill” Kincade, Jr., age 90 of Locust Grove, Georgia passed away January 4, 2019. He was born in Surgoinsville, TN to the late Dovie Wininger Gibbons. Bill faithfully served his country in the United States Navy. For 54 years, he was owner of Crossroads Barber and Beauty Styles and often cut hair for children at Scottish Rite Hospital. He received his Fifty Year Apron from the Latham Masonic Lodge #12 in Austell and was also a Shriner. He attended the Locust Grove United Methodist Church and enjoyed deer hunting, gardening, fishing, socializing with his friends where he was known to be very hospitable. Bill was a very giving person and often would give away the vegetables from his half acre garden. He was preceded in death by two brothers in law, Troy Reedy and Bill Moffitt. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Mary Kincade; daughter, Anita Kincade (Chip) Brown of Summerville; step-sons, Tim (Charlene) Vaughn of McDonough and Mike (John Barham) Vaughn of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Justin Marchan, Christina (Corley) Bryant of Lady Lake, FL, Erica Marchan of Dallas and Taylor Vaughn of Atlanta; great grandchildren, Maxwell Marchan and Roman Bryant; sisters, Bertie Moffitt of Kingsport, TN and Helen Reedy of Buford; nephew, Mike Reedy of Lawrenceville. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 8, 2019 – 1:00 PM in the Haisten Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Locust Grove Cemetery. Friends may visit the family Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the hour of service.
