Susan Gill Coward

Mrs. Susan Gill Coward, age 68, of McDonough, Georgia formerly of Dublin passed away May 20, 2015. Susan was born in San Francisco, CA, the daughter of the late, Elizabeth Haney Gill and Charles “Pop” Gill. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Coward Jr. and a brother, Michael Gill. Susan enjoyed spending time with family and friends, devoted mother to her only son, caring for people, loving animals, and was an avid reader. She was recognized by Houston County Hospital twice for Nurse of the Year. Susan was a life time member of the Dublin VFW Woman’s Auxillary. Survivors are her son and daughter-in-law, Rob and Tonya Braley of McDonough; grandchildren, Kristian Gibbs, Lilly Gibbs, and Drew Gibbs all of McDonough; brothers, Charles Gill (Carol) of Huntsville, Richard Gill (Jackie) of Palestine, TX; sister-in-law, Carol Gill of Columbia, SC; several nieces and nephews. An inurnment memorial service will be on Friday, May 29, 2015 – 12:00 PM at Andersonville National Cemetery, 496 Cemetery Road, Andersonville, Georgia 31711.
