Roger Louis Gregg

Roger Louis Gregg, age 81, of McDonough, Georgia passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024. He was born on March 22, 1943, in Lansing, Michigan to the late Russell and Mildred Gregg. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three siblings.

Roger is survived by his wife of 57 years Deidra Gregg; his three children Melissa (Keith) Bailey, Roger (Melissa) Gregg Jr., and Kristina (Neil) MacLauchlin; grandchildren Zachary, Travis, Luke, Abby, Jacob, Jesse, Tyler, Sydney, Elijah, Rowan, Alena and Ian; great grandchildren Amity, Atlas and Oliver; brother Carl (Michelle) Gregg; and several nieces, nephews, and beloved family members.

Roger was in the Navy for six years and served on the USS Holland. After his time in the military, he was an IT manager at LTI (Low Temp Industries). He loved music, was a self-taught and gifted singer and musician. He spent many years being a member of Celebrate Recovery at Community Bible Church where he played in the band. He also spent many years going to assisted living homes to sing and play for their residents. Roger was a very humble man with a servant’s heart. He was loved by so many and treasured by all who knew him.

A visitation for Roger will be held Tuesday, November 12, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Haisten Funerals & Cremations, 1745 Zack Hinton Parkway, McDonough, GA 30253. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel.
