Mr. Robert Marvin Parker, age 70 of McDonough, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2019, loving husband of 21 years to Brenda Sue Ussery Parker. Mr. Parker was born in Atlanta, GA to the late Leonard Grover, Sr. and Mattie Banks Parker. Mr. Parker was a true Christian man. He prayed regularly for those he loved and trusted the Lord fully with his health. Robert loved sharing his faith and powerful testimony with his family and friends. In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by his children: Robert Patrick (Elaine) Parker of Hampton, Marlon Shane Parker of McDonough and Karen Darlene (Don) Staples of McDonough; grandchildren: P.J., Robby and Kaleyanne; great grandson: Mason; step sons: Thomas Vaughn and Robert Vaughn; and a host of family and friends. Mr. Parker was greeted in Heaven by his first wife, Patricia Nichols Parker, his granddaughter, Heather Marie, along with dearly missed family and friends. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Holly Hill Memorial Park in Fairburn, GA with Pastor George McFarlin officiating.
