Rebecca "Becky" Shepard, age 78 passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2024. She was born on January 29, 1946 to the late Malcolm Everette Batson and Pauline Batson in Cornelia, Georgia. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, Jimmy Wayne Shepard, sister; Carolyn Sartain, Barbara Martin, Linda Dunson, brother; Kenneth Batson.
Mrs. Becky was a lover of motown music, dancing and above all she loved her family. She had a great sense of humor to match her wit and intelligence. Her memory will live on through her family.
Rebecca is survived by her children, David Shepard, Tracie (Tommy) Boggess, Roxanne Shepard, grandchildren; Jarrad (Shelley) Boggess, Erica (Brett) Aster, Matthew Shepard, Joshua Shepard, Elizabeth Shepard, Laura Lee Shepard, great-grandchildren; Arizona Boggess, Dallas Boggess, Channing Aster, Lincoln Aster and brother; Malcolm "Mac" Everette Batson.
A private service will be held with close family.
