Phyllis Burch King

Mrs. Phyllis Burch King, age 72, of Jackson, GA passed away June 15, 2017. Mrs. King was born in Scottsburg, IN the daughter of the late Bessie Opal Fitch Burch and Kelsey James Burch. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William David King; sister, Jerry Gladden; brothers, Gene and Robert Burch. Mrs. King enjoyed spending time with family and friends, being active in her church, crafts, and playing bunko. She was a member of Jackson First United Methodist Church. Survivors are her daughter, Kimberly Paige King of Jackson; brother, James Burch of Scottsburg, IN; sister, Beverly Voelker of Nashville, TN; nieces, Jayne Freeman (Michael) of Jonesboro, Debbie Schleif of College Park; nephews, Rodney Burch of Coco Creek, FL, Richard Burch (Carol) of Scottsburg, IN, Steve Burch (Mary) of Louisville, KY and other nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, June 26, 2017 10:00 AM with the Funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home.
