Nancy Short

Mrs. Nancy Short, 81, of McDonough, passed away July 5, 2019. She was born in Canton, GA on January 28, 1938. She is preceded in death by her parents John S. Manous and Luella P. Manous. She is also preceded in death by her brother, John Manous, Jr, and son, Terry M. Short. She attended Peoples Baptist Church and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Walter M. Short; daughter, Lisa S. Turner (Greg); grandchildren, Marie Lovern (Brady), Ray Adamson; great-grandchildren, Mason Lovern, Riley Lovern; brother, Joe D. Manous; nieces and nephews, Joe D. Manous, Jr. (Stephanie); Judy Tallent (Gary), Sam Manous (Janna), Carol Morgan (Dennis).

Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Short will be Monday, July 8, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Haisten Funeral Home in McDonough. Pastor Ray Turner will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.
