Myra Catherine Cowart

Mrs. Myra Catherine Williamson Cowart, age 92, of McDonough, Ga died April 18, 2018 after a valiant fight following a massive stroke in 2011. She is survived by her loving husband of 72 years, Louie Carlton Cowart. She is also survived by her four children, Wayne Cowart (Linda), Dale Terwilliger, Marshall Cowart (Patricia) and Julie Toms (Paul). She was a loving grandmother to eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Mrs. Cowart was also survived by her sister, Frances Moye, and sisters-in-law, Audrey Williamson and Nanci Davis.

The family will receive friends at Salem Baptist Church on Saturday, April 21, 2018 in the Welcome Center one hour prior to the service from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Funeral service will be in the sanctuary at 11:00 AM with Rev. Dan McKay officiating. Interment will follow at College Park Cemetery in College Park at 1:00 PM.
