Mr. Michael Wayne Dickerson, age 30, of Stockbridge, Georgia passed away August 9, 2014. Michael was born in Manhattan, KS. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, vacation travels, working out, and was an avid Atlanta Falcon and Kansas State Wild Cat Fan. Michael was employed with the City of McDonough as a certified waste water operator. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Wayne Dickerson, Jr. Survivors are his mother, Tanya Miller of Columbus; father and step mother, Keith and Mary Dickerson of Newnan; grandparents, Joe and Carol Dickerson and George Skelley; brother, Paul Dickerson (Ashley) of Cumming; step brother and sister, Chase and Tara Tripp of Newnan; nephew, Parker Dickerson of Cumming; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral service for Michael will be Tuesday, August 12, 2014 – 3:00 PM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Riley officiating.
