He was born in Kenner, Louisiana on August 25, 1987. He graduated from Henry County high school in 2006 and he studied History and Philosophy at Gordon College and UGA.
Mathew was kind and caring and giving and he was a lover of all things; nature and outdoors. He loved to work outside and always wanted to know why or how things worked. He loved his family and his favorite places were with his family especially The Farm in Wisconsin or just being in the woods as well as the mountains in Vermont and Massachusetts.
He loved poetry, astronomy, camping, hiking, fishing, kayaking and he loved to travel, read, listen to music and dance. He loved animals, his beloved dog Liam and he loved foxes.
He will miss his beloved soccer teams of Bayern Leverkusen and Bayern Munich. His favorite community involvement and jobs consisted of being a camp counselor at various camps, including Whitewater Express, camp Kudzu and various soccer programs, especially his time at Williams college soccer camp. The Moon sees our hidden sides and stars still shine upon them.
