Linda Jackson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Linda Edwards Jackson, who left us peacefully on Friday, December 13, 2024, surrounded by her devoted husband, Ronny, and her cherished pets: Pooky, Peanut and Willie.

Linda's love for her family, both two-legged and four-legged, was evident in every aspect of her life. After retiring from the phone company with 41 years of perfect attendance, Linda spent the next 5 years giving her time and love to Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary. Her dedication and compassion earned her the honor of Volunteer of the Year.

Linda had just celebrated her 46th wedding anniversary with the love of her life. In the 54 years of adventures that she and Ronny had together, they traveled all over the United States. They threw memorable parties at their home on Lake Dow, with over one hundred guests at their New Years Eve bash. She will be remembered for her warmth, her courage, and kindness. In spite of her health challenges, she comforted everyone around her and never wavered from her optimism. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her husband, her family, and her friends.

A visitation for Linda will be held Monday, December 16, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Haisten Funerals & Cremations, 1745 Zack Hinton Parkway, McDonough, GA 30253, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Stockbridge First United Methodist Church,4863 N Henry Blvd, Stockbridge, GA 30181.
