I am so sorry Mary Kathryn and David of the passing of your mother. I am just finding out or I would have come to visitation. I have good memories of your mama when I was a child. All the Locust Grove people were so close like a family. And I still feel that bond with those I grew up with. I love y’all and may Gods love and peace comfort you through this time of pain and loss.

Tootsie was one of the first people that I met when we moved to Locust Grove. Such a good hearted lady. Fond memories of good times that we shared over the years. She will be missed.  Will be praying for her family.❤️

I am so sorry to hear that Tootsie has passed  away.   I have many good memories of growing up in Locust Grove and going to school with her. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Oh my goodness, Tootsie, I’m going to miss you and our phone conversations so much. Our friendship will remain in my heart.

I am so sorry to hear of Ms. Leslie's passing.  She was such a sweet individual.  I enjoyed our conversations when she would come to the bank.  My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends!

Ms. Tootsie was a sweet and dear friend. She will be missed and thought of often.  May she rest in peace.

I remember the first time I met Tootsie, we were at Relevant Church.   She was always so sweet.  That was about 6 years ago.  I will miss her dearly.  

Tootsie, that's all I've ever called her,  was the most precious person! I thought of her a couple days ago,  should have put every thing down and called her, just to say Hi.   She was so much fun. Chad and Mica loved going with us to play bingo at the Moose Lodge. I know she is laughing with Jesus!

I have been friends with Tootsie for many years, she and I are members of the Women of the Moose Chapter #1115 in McDonough.
We had a lot of good times  over the years and I will miss her,
the last time we were togeather was at the memorial service
for our dear friend Will Bowden, but I talked with her last month
and we kept in touch by phone.

Ms. Tootsie would often walk to see my mom while she was still alive. She would only stay a short time because of mom's health. But she made that walk often.

Ms. Upchurch is survived by her children, Mary Kathryn Shirley of Locust Grove and David (Laurie) Upchurch of Locust Grove, grandchildren, Eric Upchurch, Amanda (Michael) Springer, Levi Shirley, Bill (Anna) Dougherty, Bridgette (Josh) Allen and Abbie (David) Etheridge. One sister, Kathryn Sims of Conyers, eleven grandchildren, many cousins, nieces and nephews.
