June Marilyn Hopper

Mrs. June Marilyn Hopper, age 78 of Mt. Airy, Georgia, formerly of Forest Park passed away March 28, 2017. She was born in Villa Rica, Georgia to the late Claude and Clara Nell Waldrop Bivins. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Carroll Hopper, Sr., daughter, Vickie Lynn Hopper, grandson, Johnathan Hopper and her siblings, Virgie Driver, Fred Bivins and Ralph Bivins. June was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church in Forest Park where she taught Sunday school and served for many years. She loved helping others whether it was preparing a meal or taking time to pray with someone. June put her faith first and adored spending time with family and loved ones. June was a Godly mother to her children and a caring wife to her husband Jack. She never stopped loving and teaching her children and grand-children. They were her greatest investment in life. Survivors include her children, Deborah (David) Bailey of Forest Park, Dianne (Jim) Anderson of Mt. Airy, Jack C. (Leeann) Hopper, Jr. of Jackson; grandchildren, Rebecca Brown, Rachel Bailey, Ruth Bailey, Jeremiah (Jessica) Anderson, Christopher Anderson, Joshua Anderson, Brecken Anderson, Justin (Anna) Hopper; great grandchildren, Grace Brown, Ella Brown, Clara Anderson, Molly Anderson, Jonah Hopper and Molly Hopper. Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 2, 2017 – 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Rev. Tommy Aman will officiate. Interment will follow at Worthville Baptist Church Cemetery.
