James Madison Dyer

Mr. James Madison Dyer, age 68 of Stockbridge, Georgia passed away May 23, 2016. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late William Elmer and Maynor Pauline Head Dyer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Jean Bunn Dyer and a brother, David Dyer. Jim served his country in the United States Army and was a member of Eagles Landing First Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and watching baseball. Survivors include his sons, Jason Dyer of McDonough and Brent Dyer of Stockbridge; sisters, Marsha Barnes of McDonough and Tish Dyer of Atlanta; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 27, 2016 – 11:00 am at Haisten Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park. Friends may visit the family Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
