Mrs. Gladys Odell Wilkerson Martin, age 92, of McDonough, GA passed away February 13, 2015. Mrs. Martin was born in Henry County the daughter of the late Alma Milam Wilkerson and Green Thomas Wilkerson. She was preceded in death by siblings, Ralph Wilkerson, Bill Wilkerson, Buddy Wilkerson, Albert Wilkerson, Etheleen George, and Mary Lou Bennett. Mrs. Martin worked most of her working career for J C Penny as a sales associate. She was a devoted homemaker and mother who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Survivors are her son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Nanette Martin of McDonough; grandsons, Dustin and Natalie Martin of Atlanta and Daniel and Tammy Martin of Macon; great grandchildren, Kasey, Coleman, Carlie, Alden and Case Martin. Funeral service for Mrs. Martin will be Monday, February 16, 2015 – 11:00 AM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the McDonough City Cemetery.
