Marcia Spence

Marcia Spence was born on April 15, 1958, and died on November 29, 2023. Marcia was born in Jamaica to the late Norma and Roy Spence. She was the oldest of five children: Sandra Graves, Jacqueline Bair, Natasha Taylor, and Tamika Taylor. She attended St. Michael’s Primary School in Kingston, Jamaica.

Marcia migrated to the United States in 1974 and settled in Cleveland, Ohio, where she birthed three children: Mebrahtu Mulugata, Rabutu Spence, and Shadae Hart. She later worked as a CNA for many years and was known as the one to call when her patients needed a laugh.

Marcia will always be known for her hearty laugh and infectious smile. She enjoyed spending time with family, cooking flavorful Jamaican dishes, spending quality time with family, and traveling to the countryside of Jamaica.

Marcia leaves to cherish her loving memory her children, Mebrahtu Mulugata, Rabutu Spence, and Shadae Hart, along with her sisters, Sandra Graves, and Jacqueline Bair, Natasha Taylor. Grandchildren: Aubri, Destiny, Diamond, Dakota, Jeffrey, Mebrahtu Jr., and Torri, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
