Never heard of Sonny while living in Cleveland in the 80’s l, and I saw him on Youtube today, knew and loved his songs.  Great sense of humor with his band and  I remember him now in the Grass Roots.  He left us too early.  Thank you for the joy you left us to remember you.

Came back to look at the pictures of Sonny and his family after listening to some of his music on youtube and posting some comments to people who are just now discovering his music..... Sonny, you'll live on forever through your music ...rip ! 

I’m so sorry for your loss. I’ve always loved the song Precious and Few and watched a few videos on You Tube tonight of Climax performances of it. I thought wow it sure would be great to see them sing it in person finally and that’s how I learned of the loss of their lead singer,  my condolences to the family. 

What a powerful smooth voice.  The music will last for decades by all generations. I was a DJ and radio station engineer.  I know very good music when I hear it.  Just look how many times they play these songs every week.  RIP as you have given us a lifetime of good times.  Dave

 Precious and a Few always had a strong affect on me. I love the chord progressions and harmonies. Such a simple Song just two lines. I play guitar every day this is one of my favorites. I’m 77 as of November 2020. I’m still playing  my own guitar and it keeps me going. Songs like this make me  remember the great 60s and 70s music.  Thank you Sonny for bring joy to my life for over 50 years starting with the Time Won’t Let Me with the Outsiders.

Sonny lived not far from my parents.  He was always super kind and when I got engaged to my now ex-wife, Sonny called my phone and sang a few lines of "Precious And Few" to her.... It made her so happy.  I miss him dearly......

Worked with Sonny in Detroit area several times when I was D J at WPON radio.. What a pleasant person he was. He will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of meeting him. Our condolences to the family.

I saw you perform at the rock and roll weekend in Hauppauge, New York, and spoke to you during intermission. You were such a gentleman.  Thank you for the memory. R.I.P., Sir.

I never knew Sonny but I always wished I could. My sincere condolences to his wife and family.  Sonny, my favorite song you ever did was precious and few. I loved all your songs but I really thought that song was so beautiful.  I seen you back in the 90's in New Richmond,  Ohio  and you sang precious and few so beautifully. I played guitar in a Kettering, OH band in the late 60s called The Vondells.  We opened at the Kettering Skating Rink for The Outsiders, and I had the pleasure to meet Sonny and Tom King backstage. He was a true gentleman!

As a note of nostalgia, Tom had trouble with his amplifier that night, and ended up playing through my Super Reverb amp!  I still have that 1965 amp to this day!  How time flies!  May both Sonny and Tom RIP.

Not sure what this, Sonny Geraci's death, had escaped my notice, but even belatedly I want to say to his family that I am incredibly saddened. As a Clevelander who moved to the city in January of 1968 when I was a sophomore in high school, I took great pride in having become a resident of the city from which The Outsiders hailed. His voice was unforgettable, and his imprint on so many of us will remain intact. RIP, Sonny, and thank you for the wonderful memories

I met Sonny at a concert in Jackson, Tennessee in 2005.  He was super nice and signed an autograph for me.  He was kind enough to take a picture of my friend Johnny Tillotson and I.  Sonny put on a great show and I will never forget his great voice and his kindness.  I wish his family the best!  God Bless!  Larry Willis

My wife and I went to Festa Italiana in Milwaukee around 15 years ago intending to see Frankie Avalon.  Sonny was opening that night and he was just phenomenal.  We never missed him after that whenever he came back.  Just a wonderful performer and marvelous talent.   He holds a special place in our hearts because of the great memories he provided us.  May he rest in peace.

My deepest sympathy to the family.  I knew Sonny from the neighborhood in Cleveland and drag raced him in his 54 blue Ford  down Harvard Ave while I was flying in my mother's 60 Dodge 383. He won! So sad to hear of Sonny's passing. I have fond memories of an afternoon interview in 1975 at WCLW 105-3, where I as the afternoon DJ, at Mansfield, Ohio. We had a great time talking of music and his adventures on the road. I'll always remember the frustrations of our office gals saying the switchboard was "ablaze" with all his fans calling in to talk to Sonny.

Deeply saddened to read of Sonny's passing , had tried to follow on his condition since his aneurysm in 2012, and was always surprised that there wasn't a lot of information... Time won't let me was the first song I ever sang at karaoke, I always liked his voice and songs..I had not seen that he had passed, and was listening to "The Outsiders" on Youtube when I thought I would try to find out how he was doing . Rest in Peace.....

Time Won't Let Me is one of those 60's songs that appealed to all kids in the sixties. I never turned the radio while this song played as it was one of those songs you never got tired of hearing. That says something! Thanks for sharing your voice and song with us Sonny.

May I say, as a pure fan of Sonny since his beginnings in music, that I have never seen a performer with the class and stage presence which could match that of Sonny Geraci. My husband was from the old school of music.  He was a collector of old music especially from his time period growing up.  He was several years older then me so - needless to say I had no other choice but to get acquainted with the type of music he would like to listen and the type of concerts he would like to see.  The Outsiders were among the many groups from the 60's that he would listen too.  It is so sad when we lose a great musician such as Sonny Geraci, he will be missed.

May the God of all comfort and tender mercy grant peace to the Geraci family.

To Mary Lou and Kids, I am so sorry for your loss. I wish I could have made it back to Cleveland for services for Sonny to pay my respects. I was so honored to have been the trumpet player in the Sonny's band over the past several years. I will always smile when I remember the times we shared on stage as well as the those before and after the shows. And I am grateful for having had a front row seat to see the love the world had for Sonny Geraci!

I'm  so very saddened to  hear of Sonny's  passing. I enjoyed  his music and he seemed like a great and down to earth person. Even though we traveled in the same music circles for years, never met Sonny until about 10 years ago when he was bringing his son & daughter out to Butch Armstrong's jam nights, so the younger Geracis could get some experience with live singing.

I met Emmett when we used to go to Gracemount canteen dances. He was going to John Adams, I went to Shaker heights. Used to hang around Lee Harvard area. No matter where he hung around he was always singing, and knew someday he would make a great songs, and he did. Now he's singing for all who are with him in heaven. Especially our Lord. Dear Geraci Family, We are deeply saddened to hear of the loss of Sonny. We were fortunate enough to get to know Sonny during our time with the Chagrin Falls Tigers Traveling Baseball Team. I have been a fan for over 50 years.  God gave him such a beautiful voice range which I feel he truly demonstrated on "Life & Breath."   He was a great entertainer as well.   May he rest in peace and now "Sing for the King."

Truly saddened to hear about Sonny Geraci.  His fine legacy will surely be remembered.  I hope to meet him in Paradise!

I was hired and became a member of The Outsiders in the late 1960's, replacing the previous keyboard player.  I toured with Sonny and stayed with the band on the west coast and through many different record company changes and when the band ultimately changed its name to "Climax".  I left the group in 1971 due to creative differences but I was asked back by Sonny and Walt to play piano on "Precious And Few".  Sonny and I didn't stay in touch and that is unfortunate because we were very close when we worked together in the band.  I am sorry we never got together again.  Memories of those days will last with me always and with great fondness.My sincere condolences go out to his family.  Sonny, may you rest in peace.

Sonny, you were one of the best singers of all time & it frustrated me that you couldn't have had a much bigger and longer career.  I enjoyed our interviews.  Mike Mucci & I tried various ways to help you make a comeback over the last 20 years (including reuniting you with Climax producer Larry Cox), most of which you never knew about because we didn't want you to get excited until we had everything lined up.  

About 30 years ago Larry made me a copy of that 2nd unreleased Climax album.  It's a sin that no one got to hear the beautiful music you all created.

I learned you had been living in Burbank only after your aneurysm, which kills me because I live just one city east of that.  A pity I never got to meet you in person.  Rest in peace.  We'll never stop telling people about your talent and legacy.

So sorry and sad for all of the family.  So many good memories.  Rest in peace. Your music will be with us and carry on. Thanks.
