We are so very saddened to hear of the passing of Dennis,   Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.   He will be greatly missed.   I will miss seeing him zip up the street past the house daily,  on his way shopping or wherever he was going, LOL.  May God rest his soul.

With loss, finding words to express our feelings is often difficult. Whenever I visit my sister (Emily), we'd often go by Dennis and Paulette's. Dennis always said, "Shawn, get in there and get a plate." (he knew I loved to eat!) Dennis, thank you for your kindness and your short but meaningful words whenever we got to have discussions. Thank you for being a father figure to my sister, who always spoke of you in the highest regard. Most importantly, thank you for creating that bonehead Dale (Haha); I couldn't think of a better husband to my sister and father to the babies (Nicole, Jules, Josh); he had a great teacher. From one Army vet to another, see ya in Valhalla, brother. -Hooah!

Papa love you So.. You are the most selfless person I have ever known.  I will never forget when I was a new nurse at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus and you would wait for me by the parking garage and walk with me to the floor I was working on. You were my guardian angel then and you will be forever… you have a heart of gold and will be missed. Love always your Susie Q

So sorry to hear o “paradises “passing,Dennis myself and David White joined the big red one 1/28th recon platoon together in 1968   Our tour in viet nam included many clicks thru the jungles knocking off red ants and leaches from the swamps we waded thru . Sleeping on the ground and eating C rations . Our last day in country together we were ambushed in a landing zone as the helicopters left us . Paradise played an important part in our evacuations being a radio operator . While he sustained a gun shot wound as we were about to be leaving the site we were being motored . That was the last time we saw each other as we were both medivacked out of country. Still for fifty plus years he and his wife never missed sending me a Christmas card . Truly saddened by this news and will miss a precious man who is a piece of my soul.

Thanks for teaching and taking me fishing Dad. Will miss you.
