Thomas J. Krieger

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thomas J. Krieger, beloved son of Thomas and Linda, who left us on October 16, 2024. Tom was a loving brother to Brian and Sheri (Gus) Georgilakis and a cherished uncle to Jasen and Lukas. He was also a beloved nephew to Susan (John) McHale and Steve Krieger, and will be dearly missed by many cousins.

Tom was a true car enthusiast, proudly earning the title of "Torque Master." His passion for automobiles, particularly his beloved Cutlass Supremes, began when he first obtained his driver’s license. He was an active member of the Long Island Needs a Drag Strip, back in time and the Oldsmobile Club, and he loved sharing his expertise and enthusiasm with fellow car lovers.

A fan of music and a regular concert-goer, Tom had an infectious sense of humor and a love for trying new foods and restaurants. Though not a sports fan, he took great joy in watching his nephews play, always cheering them on with unwavering support. Tom was a great friend and an attentive listener, and his presence will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Tom's generous spirit extended to philanthropy, and he was a steadfast supporter of his friends' endeavors, particularly within the car community. As Frank Sinatra once sang, "He did it his way."

Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at James Funeral Home. A funeral mass will take place on Monday at 10:45 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, followed by interment at the Cemetery of the Holy Rood in Westbury, NY.

In honor of Tom's memory, let us celebrate his life filled with laughter, friendship, and a genuine passion for the things he loved.
