Jesse J. Gick, beloved son, brother, and cherished member of his family, passed away on June 24, 2024, surrounded by the love of his devoted parents, Jeffrey and Jean Gick. Jesse was born on March 20, 1991, and from that day forward, he brought joy and warmth to all who knew him.
He was the loving big brother to Katrina (Dan), and a cherished nephew to various Aunts and Uncles. Jesse's warm smile, contagious dimples, and incredible hugs endeared him to everyone he met. His genuine affection for people was evident in his enthusiasm to clap hands with anyone who crossed his path.
Jesse had a deep fondness for simple joys in life—pinwheels and balloons brought him immense delight. He also had a particular love for his daily routine, especially the family drives around the loop parkway and Jones Beach Needle, where he never missed enjoying his favorite Chicken McNuggets and fries from McDonald's. Rain, snow, or sleet, Jesse and his family made sure to embark on these cherished outings. The ticket booth attendants became familiar faces, warmly welcoming Jesse on his daily drive.
One of Jesse's greatest joys was spending time with his dad in the woodshop, watching him create beautiful things from wood. His presence brought light and laughter to every corner of his home, where he was lovingly cared for by his parents, who fulfilled their promise to always keep him in their loving home.
Jesse J. Gick will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his boundless love, infectious joy, and the profound impact he had on everyone blessed to know him. His spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, who were enriched by his presence every day of his life
