William "Gary" Buchman

Born May 21, 1933 in Caro, Michigan to William and Hazel (Farnum) Buchman, passed away on January 13, 2016 at the age of 82. Gary was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the US Army. He was a resident of Mason for over 50 years. Gary was the owner/operator of the Mason Bakery and also a long time baker at Felpausch grocery store. Gary retired in 2003. He remained very active in the community for many years. Gary loved bowling, golf and especially his family. He was preceded in death by his wife Janet in 2014. Surviving are his daughter; Cheri (Richard) Michalewicz; sons, Michael Garrett (Deborah) Buchman and Fred Buchman; 2 grandchildren, Brandi (Nathan) Johnson and Sherri Buchman; great-grandchildren, Isaac, Ivy, Avery, Rebecca, and Nikki; 5 great great-grandchildren; brothers, Danny (Marilyn) Buchman, Mike (Nancy) Buchman; sister, Carmen (Dave) Adams; including several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 17, 2016 from 10:00-12:00 noon and 1:00-5:00 p.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 621 S. Jefferson St., Mason, MI 48854. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Dansville, MI. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to the Mason Area Meals on Wheels, 415 E.
