William (Bill) Edward Allen was born in Dearborn, Michigan on March 4, 1943; he passed away in his sleep on December 13, 2021, at the age of 78. Bill lived most of his life in Mason, had retired from the State of Michigan and moved to Isabella County. Bill returned to the Lansing area in 2019 after suffering a heart attack. Surviving are sons, Christopher (Susan) of Eaton Rapids and Mark (Rebecca) of Canton; daughter, Laura of Schoolcraft; grandchildren and step-grandchildren, Josh (Stacey), Jeremiah (Kyle), Joel, Cameron Hoffman, Erica Bobier, Lilly, Sara Garcia, Rebecca (Micah) Reed, Nick, Julia, Elena, and Luke; great-grandchildren Jaxon Garcia, Mackenzie Garcia, and Jerold Reed; brother, Bob (Sue) Allen of Holt; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandson-in-law Rob Garcia and sister Carolyn (Delmer) Kramer.
Funeral services will be held at Gorsline-Runciman Funeral Home, 621 S. Jefferson St., Mason at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 7, 2022. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
