Joyce Elaine Warren

Mason, Michigan

Age 77, died March 2, 2014; born June 17, 1936 to Claude and Lena (Kendall) Tyler. Joyce retired from the State of Michigan after 28 years of service. She had been involved with the Band Boosters when her children were in school. Joyce enjoyed swimming, learning to swim at the age of 48; became a life guard and taught swimming lessons at the YMCA of Lansing. She enjoyed acting in plays in college; taking her grandchildren to the library on Saturdays and teaching them to read. She loved vacationing with family, Fox News and culture. Preceding her in death were her parents; brother, Gary Tyler and Ronald M. Warren, her former husband. Surviving are her son, Jeff Warren; daughters, Lynda Warren, Ronda McKinney; grandchildren, Stephanie (Adam Miller) Hammer, Meghan Clark, Ashley Clark, Zachary Clark, Jacob McKinney; great grandson, Tyler Mauk; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special thanks to her niece Debbie Cervantes. The Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 621 S. Jefferson, Mason, MI with Father Kusitino Cobona officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Contributions in Joyce’s memory may be made to the Michael J.
