Harvey Paul Randall

Harvey retired in 2003 after 14 years at Diamond Reo and 26 years at Oldsmobile, both in Lansing, Michigan. Harvey enjoyed traveling, southern gospel music, assembling puzzles, completing word puzzles, and eating pancakes. He also loved anything related to trains and the Civil War. He was an avid reader. He made many friends over the years, but always made sure his family came first. He LOVED his family, and his furry best friend, his dog, Buddy.

Harvey is survived by his wife of 26 years, Carol Randall; brother, Gerald (June) Randall; and sister-in-law, Helga (Henry) Randall. Surviving children are Steven (Lori) Randall, Pamela (Mike) Rhodes, Kathee (John) Vander Zanden, Chris Chaffee and Cortney Yates. Grandchildren include Mandy (JD) Brethauer, Tyler Randall, Steven (Haley) Rhodes, Molly (Alex) Twist, Kurtis Thompson, Dusty (Mary) Martin, Leam Engel, Xander Shimkus, Ryan Chaffee, Hunter Kibbey, John Garfield-Gray, Krista Chaffee and Mitchell Chaffee. He also has 13 beautiful great-grandchildren. Harvey also had and loved many nieces and nephews.

Harvey was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Helen Randall; sister, Ruth Boot; brothers, Charles and Henry Randall; his first wife, Margaret Tucker; and grandson, Scott Johnson, Jr.

A graveside service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Greenwood Cemetery, Onondaga, MI 49264 (on Aurelius Road, 1 mile south of Barnes Road).

The family is being served by Gorsline Runciman Ball Dunn Chapel, Mason.
