Harold Frederick Herrick

Jackson, Michigan

Age 85, died October 31, 2012; born May 6, 1927 in VeVay Township, Michigan to Howard and Myra (Dutcher) Herrick. Harold drove a lawnmower wrecker for lawnmower racing; was a member of the Small Gas Engine Club. He retired from Oldsmobile after 30 plus years of employment. He loved camping, old cars, antique trucks and tractors. He had his license to pilot small planes. Harold was preceded in death by his siblings Howard Lester Herrick, Monnie Foreman and Lucille Foreman. He is survived by 2 daughters, Darlene (Roy) Goddard, Patsy Dodge; 2 sons, Lynn Herrick, Michael (Terry) Herrick, 10 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 5, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 621 S. Jefferson, Mason, Michigan, with Pastor Michael Mason officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Dansville, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2012, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
